Anchorwright is a one-person studio in Bryan/College Station, Texas. Every line of shipped code and every website goes through the same standards. You work directly with the person who designs and builds it.

What is Anchorwright?

Anchorwright LLC is a one-person software and web studio in Bryan/College Station, Texas. It builds its own privacy-first iPhone apps, and it designs and rebuilds websites for businesses.

Are the apps on the App Store?

Not yet. Serial & Story has been submitted to Apple and is waiting for review. Driveworthy and Zapman are in development, and Hallboy is still a working name. None of the four is available for download today.

Do you build websites for businesses?

Yes. Website design and redesign for small and midsize businesses, with the same standards applied to the studio’s own software: fast, secure, accessible, and maintainable.

How does a website project start, and what does it cost?

It starts with a conversation, then a written proposal with a fixed scope, a fixed price, and a delivery date. Half is due up front and half when you have the files. There is no monthly platform fee.

Who owns the website when it is finished?

You do. You receive every file plus documentation, there is nothing proprietary to install, and you can host it anywhere you choose. You or your host deploy it.

What happens to data in the apps?

It stays with you. The apps have no accounts and no analytics, and each app’s privacy policy names exactly what it stores and where. Nothing is sold or shared with advertisers.
